Rashard Lewis and Ray Allen each scored 17 points as the Seattle SuperSonics beat the Portland Trail Blazers 110-91 Tuesday night in an exhibition game.

Jeff Mcinnis had 16 points and nine assists, while Rasheed Wallace had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Blazers.

Both teams played it close through much of the first half, although the SuperSonics began to pull away late for a 55-44 halftime lead.

Seattle took charge to open the second half with a 10-0 run, including 3-pointers from Brent Barry and Allen, which put the Sonics up 67-50. Ticketmaster

The Sonics went on to lead by as many as 24 points. Barry finished with 14 points.

Guard Damon Stoudamire was absent from the Trail Blazers' lineup. He was in Arizona to appear at a hearing concerning his arrest in July for marijuana possession at Tucson International Airport.

Attorneys for Stoudamire contested the constitutionality of the airport search. Pima County Justice Court Judge Paul Simon took the matter under advisement.

The Trail Blazers initially suspended Stoudamire, but he was reinstated just before training camp started after he said he had completed a drug treatment program.

He also said he would donate $100,000 to an early childhood program in the Portland area and the team said he would not have to pay a $250,000 fine.

The Blazers were also without starting guard Derek Anderson, who had back spasms.

Ridnour is still sidelined after having surgery on a strained abdominal muscle, but was expected to make his debut for Seattle as early as Saturday, when the Blazers travel to the Spokane Arena to play another exhibition against the Sonics.
